Application Process
City on a Hill held a public lottery on March 10 for admission in the fall of 2010. If your student applied and you have not received a letter stating his or her lottery number by March 19th, please contact Katie Kline at (617)445-1515 x101.
We received 566 applications for approximately 85 spots for the 2010 freshmen class.
Application Policy
City on a Hill is a public charter school and is open to all students. Admission to City on a Hill is non-selective and non-discriminatory
and is won by lottery. There is no admissions exam. We welcome students regardless of origin, religion, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, proficiency in the English language,
or prior academic achievement. Preference in admission is given to siblings of currently enrolled students.
