Expectations

City on a Hill is a Safe, Small, and Serious school. All students are expected to keep it that way by respecting their peers, City on a Hill adults, their learning space, the YMCA, and themselves.

All City on a Hill students are expected to do the following:

  • Be on time every day
  • Be prepared to learn
  • Have all necessary classroom materials (books, pens, etc.) before class begins
  • Complete all homework
  • Take responsibility for and accept the consequences of their actions

City on a Hill does not tolerate the following:

  • Derogatory language
  • Electronics or headgear during the school day
  • Uniform violations
  • Threatening language or behavior
  • Student insubordination

City on a Hill does not tolerate any form of bullying, cyberbullying, or retaliation, in our school, on our school grounds, or during our school related activities. If you are made aware of any incidents please report them by filling out the Incident Report form or by or by e-mailing: incidentreport@cityonahill.org

You may also make an anonymous report by calling the Incident Report line at 617-445-1515 ext. 532. Please note that you do not need to leave your name or contact information for your report to be investigated, however, no disciplinary action will be taken based solely on an anonymous report.
