COAH Pooled Testing Weekly Update
Week of 6/7 -6 tests administered, 0 positive tests
This week concludes pooled testing at COAH for the school year.
Pooled testing costs less and gets faster results by testing groups of test swabs (or pools), instead of individuals! And it's free.
No cost to you. No appointment.
Parents/Guardians: Open your established account or create a new Project Beacon account. From here, make one profile for each child under 18. Provide consent in the student profile page.
Person 18 years or older (Staff): You may create your own account and profile. If you need a step by step guide to registering your Beacon, please click here.
Who is Project Beacon?
Project Beacon is a civically-minded effort, with no profit motive created to help Massachusetts manage the COVID-19 pandemic, by greatly increasing capacity, accessibility and affordability of testing.
Do I have to book an appointment for my child?
No. Appointments are not used for pool testing at City on a Hill. COAH will administer tests based on the regular testing schedule.
How often will my child be tested?
Please reach out to your school administrator ir nurse to discuss the specific testing program at City on a Hill.
What if I already have a Project Beacon Account?
First, log out of your existing Project Beacon account (or you may get an error message). Then, click the link COAH sent you in an email - this has a unique Organization Code embedded in the URL for City on a Hill. You will sign back in to create a COAH-specific profile for your child or children under age 18.
